Was at the hotel for a wedding. The hotel sent email regarding upgrades and booking in. Our stay was lovely. Great room very helpful staff.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for a few nights end of November. Made good use of the leisure facilities which were superb, a real bonus. Our room was spacious, clean and very warm (too warm, we were opening the windows and turning off the heating!). The staff are very friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Nikki on the dining room room on the Sunday morning. I was running late and had to get breakfast for both myself and my husband. Nikki came and helped me and made the whole process so much easier for me.
A great, relaxing stay with a good choice on the menu at dinner, food super and we will definitely be back.

Sandwiches lovely and fresh, cakes looked good .
Seemed busy in other rooms with diners.
Notices on outside door, saying to wait outside if busy. Unfortunate if inclement weather

I have stayed here over the past 3-4 weeks on and off for business.
The staff have all gone out of their way to be friendly and efficient.
The Spa is great and the room I stayed in had the most amazing bath.

We've enjoyed our stay here, the pool is good size and has a hot tub, there's also a sauna and a steam room, and they stay open till 21.30 which is nice for evening relaxation. Our room was a cosy attic room and had all we needed. Room service even brought an extra heater. A little outside the city centre offers peace and quiet.

At a funeral , the service was very poor ( except one young lass ). The tea was cold, and the mixer was filled to the top drowning any taste of the alcohol . Didnt think much if the buffet, no doubt, cost a fortune

Good quiet location, friendly service at reception,bar and restaurant. The room looked quite dilapidated and in need of refurbishing which was disappointing even at that price. The spa experience was somewhat spoiled by the over strict staff who kept telling people what they are not allowed to do, time and again, so it never felt relaxing.

Came here with my parents and was shocked to see what looked like a youth club outside. Found out the hotel accommodates and feeds students for the local college and they must have just been dropped off as all loitering outside as taxis dropped them off, swearing, spitting and blocking the entrance. Worst of all when we left, a couple of them were back out this time smoking drugs as the smell was so pungent. I spoke to reception stating what I’d encountered and that is was not the best advertisement as you enter a hotel but they didn’t seem to do anything about it, just apologised.

A very nice hotel located in nice surroundings with very friendly and helpful staff.
We had a delicious meal while we stayed.
The hotel is a 15/20 min walk or a short bus ride from Broughty Ferry.
We will return in the future.

Stunning building, inside hold character but very dated could do with a refurb as if you look at the finer touches it has loads of patch ups DIY style not impressed.
Rooms require full rip out and re-done very dated and cheap looking for the cash your paying , I mean single bed also come on get with the times 🙃😫
